Construction Specialist

Job Description

General tradesperson who is responsible for a wide range of residential projects including exterior siding repair to small remodel projects from demolition to finish work.

Duties and Responsibilities

●        Capable of performing project duties including all aspects of exterior siding projects (working from a ladder, lifting up to 50 lbs).

●        Capable of performing project duties as required by small residential remodeling projects (tiling, basic plumbing, painting).

●        Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.

●        Communicate with project manager and customer as appropriate.

Essential Qualifications

 ●       Good physical health with good vision and spatial awareness.

●        Good balance and safety awareness.

●        Ability to work well on a team.

●        Good oral and written communication skills.

●        Ability to problem solve and seek assistance from the team when necessary.

●        Strong organizational skills.

●        Good business sense.

●        Ability to work within timelines.

●        Ability to provide excellent customer service and get along with all types of people.

Conditions of Employment

 ●        Observing the company’s safety practices and procedures at all times, without exception.

●        Arriving to work on time, wearing the appropriate personal protection equipment, wearing proper attire and gathering the required tools for the assigned worksite project.

●        Working long or unusual hours during the peak season, sometimes in inclement weather.

●        Ability to pass drug test and maintain full-time attendance record.

●        Represent the company with professionalism when dealing with clients and the public.

Job Specifics

●        Monday – Friday workweek, 8-5pm

●        Ability to meet at our Parker warehouse to pick up materials

●        32-40 hours/week, depending upon experience

●        $20-25 starting hourly wage, depending upon experience
